The Future
Speakeasy was founded in the early 90's with the mission to provide open access to the internet to as wide a group as possible. Several of our programs were focused on that: From the RAIN terminals that dotted Seattle's cafes to the work we did with organizations such as PSCS, we believed that the internet should be a resource easily accessible by everyone.
We're continuing that work as we focus on the future of the internet, and more specifically, Net Neutrality. We'll be posting updates to the work we're doing here, so please check back, or feel free to contact us to let us know about the work you're doing, too.
