There are too many memories! There were a lot of good times, but the best times were spent in Belltown and the bestest times were spent before the cafe burned down.
It was a wild ride being part of the big dotcom rise and fall. I loved spending every Friday at the cafe (and occasionally during the week) drinking as many Guinness as I could handle, talking with everyone who came through and staying well past close with the crew.
It was just really wonderful making all of these interesting, intelligent, unique, talented, inspiring new friends in the context of being part of the earlier stages of something so world changing. I have an overall giddy and free feeling from this chapter of my life, and I still think how things might have been different if the cafe hadn’t burned down.
