Competing with Napster

Web - Crew - Michael WellsI did a couple of music content ‘deals’ for Speakeasy, bundling eMusic and Rhapsody digital music services with customer’s DSL accounts.

I’ve always been especially proud of the Rhapsody deal, as this was the very first deal that they did with an ISP, paving the way for what would become Rhapsody’s core business model.

And this was all happening in 2000/2001 when the original Napster free music orgy was still goin’ strong … so very tough to compete with that!
