I’ve been a bass player in a few Seattle bands over the years, and back in the day I used to have band practice in the dank basement below the world famous Rendezvous bar in Belltown.

This was right down the alley from the Speakeasy Internet Cafe, and one of my favorite memories is of hanging out at Speakeasy before and after band practice.

That alley behind the Speakeasy had so much activity and life going on … Black Dog Foundry, Dead Baby Bikes, Pearl Jam equipment trucks (yeah, they too had a rehearsal space there!) and more…
