Some of the best and most wonderful personal relationships I have are either because of Speakeasy or enhanced by it.

Speakeasy was definitely a job of extremes and many of my most memorable experiences were when we faced a huge challenge and overcame it.

I think of Speakeasy as “Internet College.”

Speakeasy is completely responsible for what is now a 15+ year career in cutting edge Internet infrastructure & access.

Working at Speakeasy definitely gave me the background to further my career in the tech business.

Professionally, I learned a great deal about DNS, and about how to handle rapid growth from a support perspective. And personally, I met my wife, the mother of my children while we were working at Speakeasy.

In my earliest years at Speakeasy, I was completely fascinated not only by the technical aspects of my job, but the cultural aspects of the Cafe, too.

As a technical dunce, I don’t know how I would’ve made the transition to the Internet age if it hadn’t been for the Speakeasy.

How did Speakeasy impact my life? I have to work in environments where I can have different responsibilities.

The Speakeasy, along side Vain and Black Dog Forge, are all such fine examples of people doing what they love, making a business, a neighborhood and community.
